2021 Wrap Up: 4 New Uncle Goose Toys
What a year! 2021 was the Year of the Ox, and wow! Your Uncle Goose sure worked like an ox.
Toys flew off the shelves. In an era where people demand immersive, interactive, and 3D learning experiences: well, hey! That’s what we do.
While tech firms hype block chain and virtual reality, we put out real 3D blocks and real reality. Who knew? Blocks are the fully immersive and interactive 3D learning experience people have wanted all along.
With that in mind, we went old school with two of our 2021 products and revisited classic favorites. And yet, we also pushed ourselves to create two completely innovative toys.
Your Uncle Goose introduced a total of 4 new toys in 2021. Let’s take a fond look at the toys we released during the Year of the Ox:
In September, your Uncle Goose premiered this 28 piece film genre block at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. When the Academy Museum opened, your Uncle Goose was there. This block set celebrates film with an exploration of genres, iconography, typography, and character archetypes. That’s a whole lot of learning and design in one block set!
After the hullabaloo of a Hollywood Grand Opening, we weren’t quite ready to come down to earth! We spent a little more time among the stars and dreamed up our Zodiac Blocks. This 12-piece set features the 12 constellations of the zodiac plus a deep purple horoscope wheel puzzle in a basswood tray.
3. Legacy ABC Blocks with Maple Box
In November, we went straight back in time to a beloved classic. In the 1980’s, we used to sell our Classic ABC Blocks in a Maple Box you could have engraved. We decided to bring back this deluxe concept. Our Legacy ABC Blocks with Maple Box comes with 32 Classic ABC blocks and 32 Classic Lowercase ABC Blocks. And yes, you can have the Maple Box engraved.
4. Alphablank Blocks with Crate
Customers looooooove our Amazon exclusive Alphablank Blocks. A constant favorite at baby showers, Alphablanks are our blank, unpainted blocks with 2 debossed sides. People love to get creative and use their own inks and paints to color the blocks. This year, we created an Uncle Goose exclusive. It's a basswood crate that holds a total of 64 Uncle Goose Alphablank blocks. The crate comes with a mix of lowercase and uppercase letters. Go nuts with DIY decoration!
