It's Dinosaur Time!
Have you heard about a TikTok trend called "Dinosaur Time?" Basically, it's when you stuff leafy greens straight into your mouth, like a brontosaurus in a prehistoric swamp. Nom, nom, nom!
But there are two new dinosaur times. Mark your calendars for International Dinosaur Day on the third Tuesday in May. And then, National Dinosaur Day is on June 1.
Teachers created these Dinosaur Days near the end of the school year. They hope to encourage students to continue with science, reading, and art during the summer break. After all, dinosaurs are a gateway to learning about science, art, math, and geography.
So, it's dinosaur time, for real!
Learning about Dinosaurs with Uncle Goose Dinosaur Toys
When your little paleontologist wants to get hands-on with history, Uncle Goose has you covered with three dinosaur-related block sets. They can enhance the dinosaur-centric curriculum at school and home.
Dinosaur Blocks (9-piece set)
Eight blocks feature a dinosaur: T-Rex, Stegosaurus, Triceratops, Velociraptor, Brachiosaurus, Allosaurus, Spinosaurus, and Dilophosaurus. You even get a bonus pterodactyl! Two sides of each block show the dino's name, skull, and footprint. The other sides reveal colorful illustrations, size, time period, and where these prehistoric pals once roamed.
Dinosaur Environments (6-piece set)
Piece together two green dinos, count six colorful eggs, and watch baby dinosaurs hatch. Assemble the blocks to create a puzzle of a pterodactyl soaring over a volcano. After all, every good party needs a little eruption! These blocks are great for little hands and big imaginations.
Fossil Blocks (16-piece set)
This set is a paleontological playground for those who want to dig a little deeper! Two debossed sides showcase touchable fossil illustrations. Four printed sides reveal the fossil's place of discovery, its time period, era, and the rock layer where it was found. Fossil Blocks stack up to create a greater understanding of Earth's history, geology, and the natural world.
When you play with dinosaurs and fossils, the only thing that will go extinct is boredom!
