About Uncle Goose Alphabet Blocks
American Made Quality
William Bultman, started Uncle Goose Toys in 1983 and revived the classic embossed alphabet block. The larger, high quality blocks he played with as a child were no longer available, and the imported blocks were much too small and crudely made. Since his death in 1992, we've kept this tradition alive. The simplicity and enduring value of blocks is the reason that we still make them. Alphabet blocks help children learn language/arithmetic, build fine motor skills and improve spatial reasoning. Without batteries and moving parts, blocks are completely imagination-driven -- the only sure way to keep a child's interest over many years. This is why blocks are usually a child's favorite toy.
The mission of Lindenwood Incorporated is to carry on the tradition of the Uncle Goose brand of Toys, to make only products that have enduring value, especially products that are unavailable elsewhere. Our strategy is to exceed customer expectations by making the finest toys possible, using innovation and technology. Achieving this high quality requires that we manufacture exclusively in the United States.

We are concerned about our environment and wish to point out that wood is a renewable resource. The wood we use is farmed--planted and harvested on industry-managed land around the Great Lakes. Our manufacturing process minimizes waste, both in our production and packaging. We use only child-safe, non-toxic inks. Our toys are continually tested and are always well within the safety guidelines of the ASTM and more stringent European EN-71.
In today's high tech environment, children are drawn to the simple pleasures of block play. Our challenge in the specialty toy and gift markets is to re-introduce today's busy parents to these same joys. Lindenwood, Inc. supports its customers by providing quality, open-ended products for special gift-giving occasions. After you browse through our website, we're confident you'll agree that Uncle Goose deserves a place in your toy box.
